I was invited to Eddie V’s in Troy to try out some items from the “Moon Shine Speakeasy” event! My first time at Eddie V’s was so good, I obviously had to come back!
Moon Shine Speakeasy Event – $20 choice of a featured cocktail paired with a filet teaser. Now – November 24th!
During the event, you get to try out the filet mignonette teaser which is with wild mushrooms, sherry soy broth and red chili paste. It was SO yummy! The sauce and spices were perfect and the flavors were out of this world! We paired the filet dishes with some cocktails and other signature dishes that Eddie V’s has to offer!
To keep the theme going, the restaurant offers a “Prohibition Tasting” which is yours to enjoy for $35. It features The Real McCoy 12-year single blended rum, 1920 Old Forester Whisky and WhistlePig 10-year Rye Whisky.
All in all, I thought that this was such a fun theme! I’m still dreaming about those filets, they definitely left me wanting more!
