You know I love trying out new places that are popular here in Michigan. I was stoked when I was asked to try out the new menu items at Eddie Merlot’s in Bloomfield because I’d never been there! I’ve always heard good things so I was excited to try it out.
Just looking at the menu, everything sounded delicious! We tried out a few of the new cocktails on the menu. I had the Berry White martini and started off with a charcuterie cheese board. I could eat cheese everyday and be totally content, so I was happy with this choice 😂
For more starters, we ordered the baby kale salad (my favorite!) I loved the dressing so much, I wanted to order it twice 😅 and the cauliflower au gratin which had FIVE cheeses in it 😋 both were so yummy.
I was getting pretty full, with all of the bread and appetizers we ordered, so I decided to get the loaded potato croquettes for dinner. They were balls of potato with bacon, cheddar, onion and more cheese. They were cooked so perfectly and SO tasty.
My boyfriend ordered the 7 oz. filet mignon and he enjoyed that as well! I had bites of it and it was pretty yummy.
Dinner isn’t complete without something sweet, I obviously had to have dessert. We ordered the peanut butter cup and it had peanut butter filling with a graham cracker crust. We paired it with cups of coffee. It was the perfect end to a delicious dinner!
Overall, it was a wonderful first time at Eddie Merlots! The new menu items were all so delicious and cooked to perfection! We will defiantly be back again, it was an amazing experience. 🥰
