My friend Arleena and I made a quick little trip to Toledo for our Galentines weekend! Iām so thankful to have friends that are spontaneous and love short little trips like me! š Only a short way from Detroit, Toledo had so many fun things to offer! One was at the Renaissance hotel.
As soon as we checked in, we noticed how amazing our hotel was! We were greeted with a beautiful view and some yummy snacks š Our hotel was named the āThe Glass Cityā because it was surrounded by glass, and obviously, a gorgeous view. I loved every little thing about our room. It was clean, hospitality was great, and did I mention it was clean? Cleanliness is always a top priority when I travel to different hotels!

We got dressed and took a little tour around the city, we made a stop over at the Toledo art museum and had fun looking at all of the priceless works of art. Itās free admission to the museum, so itās definitely a go-to!

We got back to our hotel and got dressed for dinner at the Brim House.
We were greeted with some tasty sparkling wine and we met our chef! Chef Michael prepared a yummy dinner for us and every single dish was absolutely delicious. I had the chicken and Arleena had the filet mignon.

Dessert was just as yummy š

After dinner, we headed up to the rooftop bar, The Heights, for some drinks to end the night. The bad is full of energy, good music and super drinks. We stayed here for a bit and made new friends at the bar! š

We went back to our hotel to a gorgeous night view of the city!
In the morning, we had brunch back at the Brim House! Iām still thinking about that turkey club sandwich I had, it was that good š

Overall, our little staycation in Toledo was amazing! The staff at the hotel were all so kind, generous and very attentive! The food was phenomenal, and the views were beautiful! I will definitely be back here for another staycation at the Renaissance Toledo! š
