I’m back at it again with another delicious post about Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar in Birmingham!
Each month, Chef Devon comes up with a BRILLIANT new menu! How she does it? I have no clue, but it sure is yummy.
This time around, we tried some new dishes and also enjoyed the Uncorked Wine Experience that they were featuring! The Uncorked Wine Experience invites guests to sip through as many of the six wines as they’d like from the Duckhorn portfolio! At $28 per guest, you get six glasses. YES, 6! My boyfriend and I ended up splitting this so that we had 3 glasses each. Definitely a great idea to split, because hey, who wouldn’t want to sample a few different wines?!
The Uncorked Wine Experience offers guests a new way to enjoy wine with dinner…personalized. Guests are invited to sip through as many of the six distinguished wines as they’d like from the Duckhorn portfolio as part of its Uncorked Wine Experience for $28* per guest with dinner.
For our starters, we had the Oberon beer battered cheese curds and the summer crab salad. A great way to start off dinner! The flavors were all so tasty and distinguished.
We also had the filet skewers that come with hummus and tabbouleh. Being Middle Eastern, I’m VERY picky about my hummus. And let me tell you, Chef Devon nailed it! The flavors were perfect.
For dinner, we had the dry aged bone-in filet cut ribeye and the lobster n’ waffles.
Holy moly, the flavors in these dishes are out of this world. Who knew lobster and waffles went SO well together?! Probably one of my favorite dishes ever. The waffles had goat cheese, scallions and maple agrodolce sauce. ribeye was tender and was topped with shrimp! 🍤
And as always, I saved room for dessert. We had the Superman Milkshake made by Chef Devon, and the carrot cake. 🍰 Super yummy!
All in all, another great experience at Fleming‘s! Chef Devon’s menu continues to amaze me and I cannot wait for the next one! You definitely do not want to miss out on the dishes for this month! 😋
