I was invited again to try out the new menu made by Chef Devon at Fleming’s in Birmingham! I was super excited since my last visit was amazing.

Fleming’s Steakhouse & Wine Bar – They are located in Birmingham, Michigan. While most guests enjoy classic steak cuts and the famous Fleming’s potatoes, there is a whole other side to this restaurant and their food. They have a frequently changing Chef’s Table menu, which I think is pretty unique.

This time, to start off, we had the Lobster Tacos. They were delicious and were made with chili rub, red cabbage slaw, roasted corn salsa, poblano-avocado cream, micro cilantro. We also had the Sliced Filet Mignon. Made with sweet corn polenta cake. It was so tasty!
We also had the smoked caprese. It had house smoked mozzarella, heirloom grape tomatoes, balsamic reduction, micro-basil

For dinner we had the Mahi Mahi – made with soba noodles, beech mushrooms, heirloom tomatoes, coconut-lemongrass broth. It was my first time ever trying mahi mahi and I was surprised at how much I liked it! We also had the Prime Ribeye – made with smoked baby potatoes, haricot vert, and vidalia onion jam. I was a huge fan of this dish! We were so full from the appetizers that we took most of our entrees home, and they tasted even better as left overs. These dishes were paired with asparagus and Fleming’s signature cheesy potatoes. If I could eat those potatoes every single day, I WOULD.

For dessert, we had whiskey peach cobbler and some cappuccino. The cobbler was sweet and tangy. It was the perfect combination.

We had a blast and all of the food was delicious. Our waiter, Tim, was kind and really did a great job. The ambiance was relaxing and the food was so tasty. Chef Devon had the perfect dishes and all of the flavors were phenomenal. I can’t wait to come back!
