I haven’t really explored much in Ferndale, but I’m happy that I came across Antihero! It’s a new Japanese restaurant/bar that is now on my favorites list.
The atmosphere was very chill. Good vibes with and without the live DJ spinning. The art all around this place was so cool and unique. Especially in the bathroom! I found it pretty insta-worthy.
This place doesn’t take reservations, so you might have to wait a bit to get a table. My friends and I were lucky and grabbed one of the first come first serve tables.
Drinks here are super unique and yummy! They even come in cool shaped glasses.
What I liked most was that prices weren’t bad and all of the dishes were shareable. I love that because I love trying a bunch of different plates and having different choices. We ended up ordering the shrimp dumplings, sweet potatoes and fried tofu. For dessert, we tried the baked Alaska and the peanut butter and chocolate mousse. Every single thing was delicious.
We will definitely be going back for more!
