Getting back into my food blogging! Living in Michigan, there are SO many good food places to eat at.
One of them that I recently went to?
I had an amazing time at Prime + Proper. The restaurant is located in Downtown Detroit. Valet parking is available! The place is a great mix of modern and classic. They have a signature cocktail list and it’s really great, the wine and liquor offerings are just as good. Over
They have an open kitchen too. And you can even see your meat selection in the butcher counter. If you head to the bathroom, you can also view meats in their dry aging room. By the way, the bathroom is too cute to not take a selfie.
The food was DELICIOUS! For appetizers, make sure to try the fried zucchini and mac n cheese. I think it was the best mac n cheese I’ve ever had. Main dishes were just as good, I ordered a cheeseburger and the meat was fantastic. AND make sure you don’t skip dessert. I had the peanut butter pavé… it tastes like a grown up version of a Reese’s peanut butter cup. Overall, I loved this place and would be back again!
